The more of these six you send, the faster your quote lands. Partial notes still work, with gaps marked as options. You receive a sheet with named ships or hotels, never vague categories.
Deposits, payments, reply times
Ocean deposits run 100 to 400 dollars per person, river deposits 400 to 600 dollars. Final payment falls 75 to 120 days before sailing, with reminders 2 weeks ahead. Quotes stay open 7 days while cabins are held, longer on request.
Cards, checks, plus line gift cards are accepted, with receipts same day. Changes before final payment are free unless fare rules state otherwise. You get penalty schedules in writing with every deposit receipt.
For 2026 planning, summer cabins move fastest from October to January. Holiday weeks need deposits by February. Shoulder months of May plus October offer lower totals plus calmer ports.
