Her visit proves  the vital importance of  tackling global issues such as disinformation, hate speech, and cyberbullying.

Ambassador Wagner-Mitchell engaged with community organizers from Lusaka and Copperbelt and emphasized the critical role they will play in educating communities about recognizing fake news, understanding propaganda, and protecting themselves against online threats.

Ambassador Wagner-Mitchell’s insights will inspire our community trainers to continue their efforts make Zambian communities media literate.

The Zambia Free Press Initiative and Interlink Academy are implementing a two and half year project on media and information literacy with support from the German government.
